History

Ethio-holland-sport is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 in Rossendal(Holland) to promote amateur soccer and cultural events within  Ethiopian Communities in the  Netherlands.Its goal includes providing positive role model for the youth and promoting good will between the Ethiopian Communities in the Netherlands.

In addition to sports events, the organization conducts cultural activities to provide opportunities for Dutch public as wel as others, to learn more about Ethiopian culture and History.

Ethio-holland-sport by virtue of its status is non-political. We have adhered to this position all along because we are legally expected to take such stance.

Ethio-holland-sport is one of the founding members of Ethiopian Sport and Cultural Federation in Europe, founded in 2002 in the city of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Today ethio-holland-sport has an executive board members: president, secretary, treasurer, public relation and tournament coordinator.
